Conflict Resolution
I love conflict resolution.
The best part about conflict resolution is that things aren’t just back to normal after resolution but usually things are better. Why is that?
Maybe that’s what’s so great about Jesus Christ. And maybe that’s why God’s plan from the beginning is actually the better plan. Meaning, being intimate with God before the fall is not going to...
Commitment Violation
I violated my own rules by not blogging for a long time. Or not blogging anything significant. What is it about blogs that have its owners come and go as they please. Neglecting, despising, missing, haha.
Blogging is definitely something that takes time. And I guess usually what happens is, you find a lot of time on your hands, you feel lonely, you’re bored, etc. so you decide to blog. ...
I Needed Today
Oh man I needed a work day like today. Today was a day when I finished my work early and now I’m able to sorta just veg out in front of the computer and internet. I needed some time for my brain to sorta just turn to mush cause the past couple days have been PACKED with stuff.
I put my headphones on and turned on my music and the song Desperate People by Hillsong came on and it was just...

Rust to Dust
This morning I had to do an internal vessel inspection for one of the butane driers in our unit. The whole unit is new so there was some rust formation inside. Climbing in and out of the vessel had me covered in orange rust from head to toe. It reminded me of something that I had once heard..

I Learned Something New
The man named Job from the Bible is pretty well known. If you asked anybody who knew anything about the Bible, the first thing that would come to their mind upon mentioning his name would be that he endured suffering and was able to praise God in that suffering. “The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised.” Matt Redman even wrote a freaking song...
Blogging Rules Part 1
I joined the xanga community in September 2002 which means I’ve been a part of this online journaling hoopla for about 6 1/2 years now. In that time, I’ve come to learn which blogs “work” and which “don’t work”. That’s to say, I’ve learned generally what people will stop and take time to read and respond versus a bunch of random stuff...
Expert
Expert - \ˈek-ˌspərt\ - one with the special skill or knowledge representing mastery of a particular subject
One of the things I’ve been learning on this job is the cost of expertise. All my life I was under the impression that smart people get and understand things faster. The smarter you are, the quicker you understand, the more easily you can apply. That’s a pretty simple...
Good and Bad
Friday! Friday’s are both more glorious and more depressing when you’re working away from home. Good because usually you get worked into the ground when you’re away and it’s a break from that and bad because you’re reminded how alone you are haha. But then there’s that Matthew 10 thing that I was sharing about before so I hope I solve that problem quickly. ...
Matthew 10
Read this yesterday and was very convicted. Maybe because I feel like I can relate in that I’m going to many towns and places these days. I felt that Jesus was speaking to me when he says in verse 11 “Whatever town or village you enter, search for some worthy person there and stay at his house until you leave.” I really think I need to find another Christian here and wherever...

First Post
I created this new blog, inspired by Tricia Lee. I feel like Gomer (oops!) from the book of Hosea, cheating on xanga and having children of unfaithfulness which will be my blogs on this site haha.
Anyway, maybe it is better to start a new blog. Maybe it’ll help me write more. WHOA! I just accidentally hit back on my browser. I thought my post was gone but when I hit forward, it was all...
